About the Role
We are looking for a General Assembly Intern to support the planning and delivery of MSF Norway’s General Assembly 2026. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event coordination within an international humanitarian organisation while fulfilling the requirements of your academic internship. This internship offers practical experience in event management and exposure to MSF’s associative life. You’ll work in a supportive, collaborative environment and contribute to a key organisational event.

Key Responsibilities
Registration Support: Manage participant registrations, update the event website, track confirmations and special requirements, and provide timely communication under guidance.
Programme Coordination: Share agenda updates online and assist with timekeeping and transitions during sessions.
Travel & Accommodation: Help with bookings, rooming lists, and respond to travel, accommodation, and dietary inquiries.
Administrative & Onsite Support: Prepare and print event materials, assist with Board candidate communications, support onsite logistics, and contribute to post-event evaluation.
Through this internship, you will:
Build project and event management skills by supporting an international event.
Develop stakeholder management and communication expertise in a multicultural, humanitarian setting.
Gain insight into governance and decision-making processes within an international medical NGO.
About You
Currently enrolled in a university programme requiring an internship.
Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficient in English (at level C1 or above).
Comfortable handling sensitive information and meeting deadlines.

Location: MSF offices across Norway.
Contract Type: Internship.
Duration: January to May 2026.
Start Date: End of January 2026.

Expected Commitment: This is an unpaid internship with an expected workload of 20 hours per week from January to May 2026.
Travel Requirements: Must be available to travel to Copenhagen from 7 to 10 May 2026. All travel expenses for this trip will be covered by MSF.
